No accounts, no profiles
ShopAbouts has no sign-up. Your saved stores and viewing history are stored only in your own browser (localStorage) — they never leave your device, and we can’t see them.
What we measure
We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand how the site is used in aggregate — pages viewed, stores skipped, saved, and visited — so we can make discovery better. We don’t sell data, run third-party ad trackers, or build advertising profiles.
When you visit a store
Clicking through to a store takes you to that store’s own website, which has its own privacy policy and its own cookies. What happens there is between you and them.
