What is ShopAbouts?
A discovery site for independent online stores. You see one store at a time — its products and prices, live — and you skip it, save it, or visit it. Like window-shopping a street of small businesses, without knowing what you’re looking for yet.
How are stores picked?
Every store is independently reviewed before it appears: a real catalog, quality product photography, and a working storefront. We curate for delightful, giftable, hidden-gem shops. There are no placement fees and no pay-to-play.
Do you sell anything?
No. ShopAbouts doesn’t sell products, take payments, or handle orders. Every purchase happens directly on the store’s own website, under its own prices and policies. We make introductions.
Is ShopAbouts affiliated with the stores shown?
No. We’re an independent project and aren’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with the stores in the deck. Product information comes directly from each store and can change at any time.
How does saving stores work?
Saves live in your browser — no account needed. That also means saves don’t follow you across devices yet.
How do I get my store listed?
Email us with your store name and website. Every submission goes through the same review as the rest of the deck. Listing is free.
